Surfprep’s 5” ‘brushless’ electric sander is the lowest profile, operator friendly, power packed, energy efficient random orbital sander. Lightweight at just 2.5 pounds. The Ray allows operators to sand ‘on-site’ because the tool plugs directly into a standard electric outlet. The power supply is built in the tool with a ‘direct wire’ design that allows for easy set up and operation (no external power supply box / plugs directly into outlet). Annual electricity costs for operating the 5” or 6” Surge 4 hour/day, 240 days/year at $0.0007 kWh is just over $20.00 per year. These tools are available in 3/16” & 3/32” orbits. The rate of cut & power of the Surge puts the sander in a class of its own!

SurfPrep’s 3” x 4” Air Sanders have a low profile, compact footprint designed for use on flat surfaces, recessed corners, inside drawer boxes, & profiled moldings, etc. The durable, lightweight nylon composite bodied sanders withstand rugged industrial applications and are excellent for both prep & finish sanding. Both the Air and Electric Ray can be converted into a more “aggressive leveling sander” with the simple addition of a pad saver with SurfPrep Film cut sheets. O.D. ½” / I.D. ¼” Rated at 300PSI SurfPrep’s Ball Swivel Air Hose allows operators to maneuver sander in and out of tight areas without any restrictions. The hoses are one-of-a-kind for a couple of reasons. First, the hose has an ergonomic, lightweight connection to the sander and never needs to be disconnected from the tool. This stops air leaks because the bearings are not going to become worn out like other hoses in the industry. Secondly, the hose is oil resistant, it can be lubricated through the opposite end of the hose.

These hoses are oil resistant and are meant to be used in conjunction with SurfPrep’s tool oil and pneumatic air sanders.

The ball swivel needs to be screwed into the back of any SurfPrep pneumatic air sander. When oiling the sander, do not unscrew swivel from the back of the sander. Detach the coupler fitting from main air line and oil tool through the end of the air hose.
